The Tetra Tech ES, Inc Representative Office in Uzbekistan is implementing the USAID Power Central Asia Project (USAID PCA) project in Central Asia. USAID PCA assists the five Central Asian countries Ц Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan Ц to meet their national energy priorities, and reap economic benefits from cross-border energy trading, and improve energy security through greater regional connectivity. Under these contracts, Tetra Tech will provide technical support to national governments, utilities, and other stakeholders to develop domestic energy market reforms, strengthen the regional electricity market, and promote greater adoption of clean energy technologies from conventional and renewable sources.

Х Support Chief of Party, Uzbekistan Country Representative and technical experts on administrative matters including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and recordkeeping;
Х Assist Uzbekistan Country Representative with the office setup and infrastructure (office, furniture, equipment);
Х Answer incoming calls and emails requesting information about project administrative activities;
Х Support the project procurement team with the research and collection of information about local suppliers and vendors;
Х Work with project vendors and relevant team members to obtain and collect original support receipts;
Х Support organization of press conferences, workshops, training activities, presentations and other project events;
Х Assist with written and verbal translations and editing/formatting reports and presentations to meet USAID branding requirements;
Х Help arrange travel and accommodations for employees and consultants of the project;
Х Manage US standard and local standard timesheets for local staff;
Х Maintain a table with employees' time allocation on a monthly basis (based on US standard timesheets);
Х Assist with creating invoices in the banking system (if necessary);
Х Assist with the development and submission of financial reports to Tetra Tech U.S. office;
Х Learn and use QuickBooks for the project financial reporting;
Х Maintain and update project inventory log and tagging based on USAID standards;
Х Assist with planning and implementing project activities on as needed basis;
Х Other administrative, operations or local procurement/accounting related tasks as requested, based on project needs in Uzbekistan and other countries in Central Asia.

Professional requirements Requirements:
Х Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, social studies or related field;
Х Three or more years of relevant experience as an office administrator, administrative assistant or office manager;
Х Proficiency in MS Office;
Х Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Х Knowledge of finance and accounting is a plus;
Х Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects is a plus;
Х Experience working with government agencies, industry associations and academic institutions is a plus;
Х Fluent in Russian, English and Uzbek languages.
