Duties |
- To manage the programme calendar of Ambassador; - To coordinate and maintain the appointment schedules of Ambassador; - To communicate and coordinate with the governmental and private organizations, as well as foreign Embassies based in Uzbekistan; - To plan and develop programmes for promoting business, cultural and tourism cooperation between Bangladesh and Uzbekistan; - To assist in developing new contacts and establishing networks in the business, cultural and media circles of Uzbekistan; - To analyze and report on the current topics including international issues; - To translate official documents from English to Russian /Uzbek language and vice versa; - To serve as interpreter during official meetings/functions; - To work with computer for delivering the responsibilities including photo/video editing; - Assist in airport protocol, exclusively for VIPs and Ambassador. |

Professional requirements |
- Master Degree in International Relations, Communications, Translation from any reputed University; - Efficiency in Uzbek, Russian and English both oral and written; - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to build constructive relationship with professionals from different backgrounds; - Excellent social and inter-personal skills to work in a professional environment, including the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; - Creative, and dynamic, with a pragmatic approach; - Good understandings of the diplomatic environment; - An ability to contemplate strategically and methodically, to firm up outcome oriented ideas and actions; - Strong sense of commitment to the objectives of the Embassy; - Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines; - Ability to handle difficult situations professionally; - Basic computer skills including MS Word, Power Point, Excel, photo/video editing, etc. |
