GIZ project "Modernization of practical medical education and training in Termez with the involvement of Afghans in Uzbekistan" is looking for Expert (Advisor) in Tashkent.
Main responsibilities:
• Advising and providing support to the line manager in project planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting; • Preparing, implementing and documenting training events, workshops, forums, team meetings and other project activities, jointly with partners; • Ensuring knowledge management through collection and documentation of relevant information from sources within the scope of the project; • Drawing up reports and presentation documents based on global and international evidence based policies and strategies in required languages; • Providing technical advice and guidance to partner institution(s); • Organizing implementation workshops, activities and studies on project related topics; • Implementing daily operational aspects of all issues related to the project; • Processing technical aspects and further developing the area of responsibility in accordance with the specified quality standards; • Maintaining a good flow of communication and information between all involved institutions, counterparts and GIZ following data protection standards. |

Professional requirements |
• Education relevant University degree (bachelor, master/MSc or doctorate in nursing, midwifery, medicine, health education, public health or equivalent); • At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position; • Experience in collaboration with Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and other governmental institutions; • Proven ability to identify needs, in concept and strategy development in curricula and trainings for medical and nursing staff; •Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and effectively with a wide range of partners in health sector; • Experienced user of MS Office, internet, and computer applications; • Fluency in English, Russian and Uzbek languages. German language is a plus. |
