| Duties | The OSCE PCUz is implementing project on Development of national capacities to counter Cyber/ICT threats through 2025. In April 2025, OSCE PCUz launched trainings for judges in Tashkent, Namangan and Fergana regions The aim of the activity is to enhance the capacity of judges to effectively adjudicate cases involving cybercrime and digital evidence. The course seeks to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the technical, legal, and procedural aspects of cybercrime investigations, ensuring alignment with international best practices and human rights standards. It aims to equip judges with the necessary skills to evaluate digital evidence, understand the complexities of cybercrime offenses, and address challenges related to cross-border investigations. By increasing their knowledge of emerging technologies and cybercrime trends, the activity will support judges in making informed decisions and delivering fair and consistent rulings. Additionally, the training will foster awareness of the legal frameworks and international cooperation mechanisms essential for tackling transnational cybercrime. Together with second trainer provide 2- days trainings on Cyber security for Judges in the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Covering but not limited following topics: • International Legal Framework for Combating Cybercrime • National Legal Frameworks for Combating Cybercrime • International Experience in Combating Cybercrime: Choosing Models and Strategies • Problematic Issues in the Qualification of "Cybercrimes" (experience of Uzbekistan and certain countries) • Criminal Procedure and Other Organizational Problems in Combating Cybercrime (experience of Uzbekistan and other countries) • Features of Obtaining Electronic Evidence Within the Framework of International Cooperation |

| Professional requirements | - University level degree in Cyber Security, Legal sciences; - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, Cyber Investigations, or Digital Forensics; - Experience in the effective coordination of the team of experts, organization of international and regional seminars, workshops, conferences. -Fluency in Uzbek and Russian languages. - Good diplomatic and negotiations skills; - Effective communication and report writing skills - Experience in Law Enforcement or Corporate Security is highly beneficial, especially when it comes to understanding legal frameworks, evidence handling, and investigative procedures; - A deep understanding of laws governing cybercrime and digital forensics at both local and international levels is essential. |
