Position Summary A communications specialist builds and maintains relations between company, the media and the public. He/she will serve in public-facing roles and represent the company. He/she has exceptional public speaking and writing skills, be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to details, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines. He/she have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Communications specialists should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players.
Responsibilities & Duties
Internal communication • Organize events (physical and online) for SUEZ team to maintain good atmosphere at work for employees. • Control the use of the brand SUEZ (posters in offices, logos..). • Share relevant news related to the project, actuality of water sector in Uzbekistan with employees on appropriate communication channel. • Prepares content for the company website and newsletters in coordination and upon approval of the management • Take care of good corporate information for all employees.
External communication • Acts as communication referent for Tashkent project • Prepare and share communication materials (newsletters, videos, flyers, letters, invitations) after approval of the management • Coordinate internal and external communications locally, responsible for the roll out and convey of Group communication campaigns in his/her perimeter • Leads communication actions and initiatives locally, reports locally planned actions and initiatives to the Communication Director for support, validation and to ensure maximum visibility of these local initiatives both internally and externally. • Propose and monitor the Communication strategy with the stakeholders of the project. • Represent local Suez branch at conferences, exhibitions and other public/industry forums to promote SUEZ activities in the country. • Arrange and coordinate press conferences and plan events, in line with the communication strategy
General • Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation. • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments. • Facilitate the resolution of disputes with external role-players. • Adhere to the company's style guide, ensuring that we produce a high-quality and error-free copy. • Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company's strategy and in support of various brand initiatives. • Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team. • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and key external role-players.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field (essential). • A minimum of 3 years experience in communications strategy development (essential).
Special Skills/Abilities Needed: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools. • Content writing experience for all media platforms. • Proven social media and networking expertise. • Strategic and creative mindset. • Meticulous attention to detail. • Proficient in English, Russian and Uzbek languages. • Able and willing to travel extensively within the region. • Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the activities of a complex operation. • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Russian languages, both verbally and in writing. • Ability to create effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the Organization. • Problem solving and decision-making skills. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong negotiation skills. • Hardworking, disciplined, enthusiastic, dynamic, willing to learn. • Detail-oriented and able to multitask. • Ethics. • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity. |

Permanent entity of the French company SUEZ International SAS in Tashkent. The company has signed a 7-year contract with Tashkent city municipality and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services on March 7, 2020.
Project: Tashkent water transformation plan The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.
Main activity: - Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard - Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent - Improve financial sustainability of the water service.
