| Duties | The System Administrator will: 1. AI Infrastructure Deployment & Management – Install, configure, and maintain GPU‑accelerated servers (e.g., NVIDIA H100), storage arrays, and virtualization hosts (KVM, VMware, or Hyper‑V); – Provision and optimize DDR5 ECC RAM, NVMe SSD RAID arrays, and network file systems for high‑IOPS workloads. 2. Operating System & Virtualization Administration – Deploy and harden Linux distributions (Ubuntu Server, RHEL) and Windows Server environments according to security best practices; – Manage container and VM platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, KVM), including image repositories, networking, and resource quotas. 3. Backup, Recovery & High Availability – Design and implement automated backup strategies (file‑ and image‑level) for critical data stores using enterprise tools (e.g., Bacula, Veeam); – Configure high‑availability clusters and failover mechanisms for essential services (database, authentication, storage). 4. Monitoring, Logging & Alerting – Integrate and maintain monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Zabbix) and log aggregation platforms (ELK Stack, Graylog) to track system health, resource utilization, and error conditions; – Define thresholds, alerts, and escalation procedures; produce weekly and ad‑hoc performance and capacity reports. 5. Security & Compliance – Apply OS‑level security controls: patch management, SELinux/AppArmor, file integrity monitoring, and vulnerability scanning (OpenVAS, Nessus); – Enforce role‑based access control (RBAC), multi‑factor authentication (MFA), and encryption at rest/in transit for sensitive data. 6. Configuration Management & Automation – Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) playbooks and templates using Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent; – Automate routine tasks (provisioning, patching, scaling) to ensure consistency and reduce manual intervention. |

| Professional requirements | – Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields; – Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server systems; – Experience with virtualization tools like KVM, Hyper-V, Vmware; – Familiarity with enterprise-level GPU servers and RAID-based storage systems; – Administer Linux/Windows servers and cloud infrastructure; – Ensure optimal performance of AI-related backend systems; – Manage OS-level security, updates, and patch management; – Support database and storage services used in AI systems. Candidates possessing the following certifications will be given priority consideration: - LPIC or RHCSA/RHCE (Linux); - VMware VCP or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE (preferred). |

| Additional information: | The Client is the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The Ministry is responsible for receiving the work performed by expert within the framework of this assignment, as well as signing the act of acceptance of the work. The PIU under the Ministry of Economy and Finance is responsible for making payments based on the act of acceptance of work/Timesheet/Service signed by the Ministry (based on the Protocol approving the relevant deliverable(s)) and the preliminary act of expert. All costs, including taxes, are covered by expert. |
