| Duties | The Resource Coordination Assistant works under the direct supervision of Resource Coordination Specialist and has no supervisory responsibilities. Serves as the primary point of contact for the Public Affairs Section, ensuring that visitors receive accurate and timely information with the highest levels of customer service. Provides administrative support, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and the preparation of vouchers and expense reimbursements. Maintains calendars, time and attendance, room reservations, access requests, and the tracking system for Public Diplomacy (PD) taskings from the Embassy Front Office and their completion status. Is the primary point of contact and provides logistical support for PD Section visitors. As the PD Section's administrative assistant, is responsible for answering calls, greeting visitors, routing correspondence, maintaining files, scheduling the PAO and other American PD officers, and other support tasks. Processes MyServices requests, arranges in-person and virtual meetings, and recommends appropriate equipment and supply purchases. Prepares and submits reimbursement vouchers, including representation and other official expenses. Liaises with the Embassy Front Office and other sections to assign and track completions of taskings assigned to PD; coordinates the compilation of PD components of Mission PD Section guest lists. Serves as principal PD liaison with Management (General Services, Facilities Management, Information Technology, Financial Management, and Human Resources) and Regional Security staffs to coordinate their support for PD programs and activities. Works closely with the Management Section to coordinate the PD Section's use of resources, including financial, program, equipment, human, and space requirements, and PD-specific resource tracking. Tracks PD staff training and travel. Coordinates PD staff work schedules to comply with Embassy procedures and supervisors' requirements. Responsible for preparing PD Section time and attendance. Prepares workload statistics as required for PD budget submissions and personnel reports; coordinates the preparation of the PD staffing pattern. Drafts office correspondence in English and Russian, including memos, cables, event proposals, and evaluation reports. Provides interpretation and translation between English and Russian when required. Manages PD representational activities in coordination with other PD staff. |

| Professional requirements | EXPERIENCE: At least one year of progressively responsible experience in a major organization with experience in budget, accounting, business administration, financial management, organizational management, public administration, project management, or grants management work is required. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have strong analytic skills to manage funding from multiple sources, each with differing requirements for purpose, oversight, and accounting. Must have excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write reports and diplomatic communication in both English and Russian/Uzbek. Education Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, International Relations, Public Administration, Communications/English, or local equivalent is required. Language requirements: Fluent level in Speaking/Reading/Writing of RUSSIAN (or UZBEK) and ENGLISH is required. Limited Knowledge level in Speaking/Reading/Writing of UZBEK (or RUSSIAN) is required. Evaluations: All candidates will be evaluated against minimum required education, qualifications, skills and experience. Language proficiency may be tested.
