| Duties | GIZ Service Unit opens a vacancy of Junior Procurement and Contracting Specialist. Responsibilities: • Support the implementation of local procurement of goods and services for GIZ projects, in particular market monitoring, competition implementation and contract management in accordance with GIZ regulations and, wherever necessary, in coordination with GIZ HQ and/or GIZ Country office; • Assist to prepare and draft consulting contracts, appraisal contracts; • Advise project staff on procurement issues and applicable regulations; • Manage and file documents as per rules; • Manage projects inventory lists; • Compliance with the necessary sanctions list check in accordance with P+R and depart-mental and country requirements; • Organize and manage projects activities (events, conferences, arrange necessary procurements related to it); • Coordinate and arrange business travel, including booking flights/train tickets, accommodation, ground transportation, visa support and etc; • Be the focal point for projects event management; • Substitute colleagues in the similar work area in Service unit; • Process procurement related documents in online platforms. |
