| Duties | General Responsibilities: *In all sequences follow the safety circulation *Notice things that need to be done and does them without waiting to be asked *Provide other services, as required, to maintain the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the school *Providing logistics for school events and functions (Set up and take down furniture, equipment, and signage for school events or meetings). *International containers orders deliveries unloading and distribution assistance *Assist with the preparation of school facilities for special occasions, as needed. *Maintain work equipment in good and working condition *Familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures and able to assist in such situations *Maintain the condition of doors, windows, walls, and other structures. *Perform routine inspections of the school's facilities and grounds. *Respond promptly to work orders and special requests from faculty or administrative staff *Monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance tools, and landscaping materials. *Assist in ordering supplies and equipment as needed, keeping accurate records of usage and stock levels. *Support School Inventory process *Performance Criteria *Performs daily and periodic tasks without requiring supervision *Takes initiative to perform cleaning activities not detailed above or inform supervisor of areas requiring maintenance *Conducts herself/himself in a professional manner (not promoting gossip or rumors, not becoming involved in others' affairs, maintaining good attitude toward work) *Begins work as scheduled and is dependable in attendance *Ensure adequate stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies, notifying the supervisor when items need replenishing. Daily Cleaning: *Maintain the school territory clean and safe *Check and empty all the outside litter *Check that temperature is properly set in the building *Keep premises free of litter *Empty all waste baskets Safety and Security: *Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, including maintaining clear emergency exits. *Secure buildings and facilities at the end of the day, including locking doors and windows. *Monitor and report any suspicious activities or safety concerns. *Report any major repairs or safety concerns to the Facilities and Security Manager *Ensure playgrounds, sports fields, and recreational areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. As Needed: *Cut grass *Take care of the trees *Assist the teachers and teacher assistants on any logistics as requested. |
