Duties |
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Enter and process the monthly field office project expenditures (locals) in ABACUS software. • Handle vendors' and suppliers' accounts, including invoices, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Carry out correct and timely payments to vendors and service providers. • Ensure all financial documentation is filed (securely) in both hard copy and scanned and saved in project digital files. • Prepare and/or review payments to ensure that all supporting documentation and approvals are accurate and complete payments through the bank. • Ensure all transactions comply with USAID rules and regulations. • Scan all relevant documents • Collaborate with other teams to ensure programs align with the company's goals and objectives • Organize and manage meetings, events, and conferences • Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and greeting visitors • Receive deliveries and packages and process incoming mail • Fulfillment of all tasks given by the Finance and Operations Director |

Professional requirements |
• A degree in accounting or related field required • Minimum of 4 years of progressive financial management experience • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing international development donor-funded programs; USAID experience desirable • Strong analytical and computer skills, with an emphasis on budget and financial analysis • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity • Professional-level language skills in English and Uzbek required, while Russian is preferred. |

The Finance and Project Assistant assists the Finance and Operations Director and Finance Manager in all aspects of project accounting management. S/he oversees the processing of accounting transactions according to the general accounting principles and adheres to home office field accounting manual procedures. S/he must also follow USAID and Chemonics policies, procedures, and regulations. |

By supporting new value chains and scaling up work in the west and south of the country, the project has increased sales and exports in the sector, relying on co-investments with partners to achieve its goals. |
