Programme Summary

STREAM is a new regional programme in the Ferghana Valley (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) which is focused on strengthening cooperation and mutual benefits by focusing on evidence based and participatory NRM, the efficient management of water resources, in the context of climate change. The programme includes capacity-building, raising awareness activities, small grants to CSOs & LSGs and an infrastructure component focused on improving water efficiency by rehabilitating existing infrastructure and installing water meters to improve water accounting and use.

Assignment

Acted is looking for a qualified candidate with relevant background, who will work under the direct supervision of the Regional Programme Coordinator and will be responsible to develop the branding identity for the STREAM program.

In addition, required to ensure effective and timely completion of set deliverables with maximum impact and in compliance with all Acted and donors' requirements.

Tasks:

- Variations of program logo
- Program brand book including color codes and fonts
- Program external communication guideline
- Word templates, participation certificate templates and Zoom background for the program
- Program presentation (regional/national)
- Program roll-up & banner designs
- Other program promo materials designs

Professional requirements The Communications Consultant will be evaluated based on his/her demonstration of the qualities and competencies below:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social science, international relations, or another relevant field;
• At least 5 years of working experience, including in communications, marketing or social media;
• Good communications skills, ability to work effectively remotely;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Russian are required;
• Excellent time management and organisation skills are required;
• Demonstrated skills using social media for PR and communications;
• Knowledge of graphic design, creative editing and video editing software is an advantage;
• Previous experience in the development of brand books and visibility products;
• Previous experience working with an NGO or international donors is an advantage;
• Knowledge of 1 or more local languages is an advantage (Tajik/Uzbek/Kyrgyz).

Additional information: Qualified candidates are requested to submit:

1. CV, Cover letter with the indication of a daily rate & diploma.
2. A technical proposal with the proposed methodology/approach to managing the assignment, showing understanding of tasks.
3. Financial proposal (separate from technical proposal in local currency) for the consultancy per deliverable, also stating the timeframe for completion of deliverables.
4. A portfolio with examples of designed visibility products and brand books.
5. Applications without technical and financial proposal will not be considered.

Expected timeline

The activity is expected to take place within 15 days, indicatively starting from May-June 2024.
