PeaceNexus Foundation (PN) is a Swiss private foundation that aims to strengthen the capacities of and collaboration between organisations to increase their contribution to reducing violence and building peace.
PeaceNexus multiplies the peacebuilding impact of our partners through three areas of support: 1) Organisational Development for peacebuilding champions; 2) Developing capacity for Conflict Sensitivity and 3) Supporting Business Engagement to develop solutions to local peacebuilding challenges. PN works in four regions and internationally. These regions are Western Balkans, Western Africa, Myanmar, and Central Asia. In Central Asia, PN have partnerships and initiatives in three countries of the region – Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
PN Central Asia Programme began working in Uzbeksitan in 2017 and to date our partners include the Development Strategy Center, National Movement "Yuksalish", Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, and the Research Center Ma'no. PN is planning to expand its partnerships to provide support to civil society organizations of Uzbeksitan which contribute to sustaining peace and strengthening social cohesion and environmental security in Uzbeksitan and across Central Asia. |
