| Duties | The branch of the German Sparkassenstiftung in the Republic of Uzbekistan represents the German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation, headquartered in Bonn. The office in Tashkent is coordinated by the International Country Director for Uzbekistan. The team consists of both local and international professionals, united by a shared mission — to contribute to sustainable development through practical, impact-oriented projects. Projects implemented in Uzbekistan are carried out with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), as well as other international donors. In this regard, the branch is seeking a proactive and responsible Project Driver to ensure the effective and safe functioning of the project, with the possibility of an immediate start. Main Responsibilities: • Transport services for all team members to conferences, receptions, seminars, training sessions and appointments with partners, as well as between the airport, railway station, project office, etc. • Transport services for experts during assignments to seminars, training courses and the office as well as to and from the regions and between the airport, railway station, hotel, etc. (also at weekends and at night) • Transport services also for partner projects, e.g. EBRD. • Transport of seminar materials for the training rooms in the regions and other project materials. • Purchase of office materials, seminar materials, hygiene and sanitary materials. • Delivery and collection of correspondence between the project office and the project partners. • Supporting the preparations for conferences, seminars, training courses, etc. (e.g. setting up / dismantling, tidying up, etc.). • Monthly payments for internet, mobile phone call credit, electricity, hot and cold water, heating, municipal charges. • Organizing the cleaning of the outside area of the project office. • Ongoing tidying, snow clearing, etc. of the outside area (including stairs) of project office. • Carrying out small repairs in the project office. • Monitoring the technical condition of the project vehicle(s) and car workshop visits (timely oil change, filter replacement, inspection, etc.). • Ensuring cleanliness of the project vehicle(s). • Timely and correct entries in the vehicle logbook. |

| Professional requirements | Requirements for Candidates: • Secondary or vocational secondary education. • Valid Category "B" driving license (Category "C" is an advantage). • At least 3–5 years of driving experience, including urban and intercity driving. • Previous experience as a driver in international, governmental, or project-based organizations is an asset. • Excellent knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices. • Good knowledge of the city and regions (ability to navigate routes efficiently). • Skills in vehicle operation and basic technical maintenance. • Accuracy, responsibility, and punctuality. • Ability to maintain vehicle logbooks and keep accurate trip records. • Willingness to work flexible and irregular hours, including business trips, weekends, and night shifts. • Absence of habits that may negatively affect the performance of official duties. • Good communication skills, politeness, and professional conduct when interacting with staff, experts, and project partners. • Compliance with confidentiality requirements and internal rules of the international organization. • Languages: Uzbek, Russian; basic knowledge of English. |
