| Duties | GIZ Project "Support of the Reform and Modernization Process in the Vocational Education System of Uzbekistan, phase II" is hiring an Advisor (Institutional Development). Tasks: • Lead the Agile Working Group "Institute for the Development of TVET"; • Lead the agile team to the successful achievement of Indicators and the overall project goals; • Negotiate with the Institute the framework conditions for project implementation (in close cooperation with the Team Leader) and steer the implementation of project activities; • Assure the interlinkage of the activities with the overall project and beyond; • Bringing in expertise on modern TVET systems, dual education, lifelong learning and further education; • Observe coherence of budget and implementation; • Contribute to the visibility and PR of the joint project measures; • Represent the TVET and GIZ towards the Institute and other institutions of the TVET sector if necessary and in close cooperation with the team leader. |

| Professional requirements | • University Degree in related to the project objectives, with a focus on a relevant field (ap-plied sciences, management, policy advise, TVET, etc). Extended knowledge of project cycle management; • At least 4 years in project cycle management and education; • Knowledge of institutional development in TVET or other educational sectors; • Knowledge of TVET systems and in-company dual training. Knowledge of the German dual education system; • Knowledge of methods, approaches and learning tools for TVET and adult education; • Good level of English, Russian and Uzbek languages; • Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software and appliances) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office); • Problem-solving and organizational skills; • High communication skills; |
