| Duties | The Representative Office of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Uzbekistan is happy to announce open internship to the Project "Green Skills for a Green Economy in Central Asia". The project supports the responsible government bodies in steering policies aimed at improving TVET and promoting employment. The national economic strategies will be oriented to specific, practically determined needs of the labor market in the green economy. The project also supports green economy companies and associations in joining forces with public administrations to improve vocational training and to align skills with labor market need. To achieve this goal, the project provides advisory services besides organizing events and regional dialogues. In addition, the project works with vocational training providers and with companies involved in the green economy and advises them on the joint development and implementation of training programs. Internship duration 3 months with possible extension to another 3 months. Main areas of learning and supporting GIZ: • Provide support in preparing and organizing logistics for the Project activities (seminars, workshops, conferences, round tables and etc.); • Provide support in preparation of overviews, excel sheets and presentations; • Provide written and oral support in translating/interpreting documents, online meetings, etc. in/to English/Russian/Uzbek; • Writing the minutes during the meetings/events when it is necessary; • Provide other administrative support to technical and administrative staff of the Project according to their request. |

| Professional requirements | • Currently enrolled as a university student or recently graduated (max. one year ago) in a area relevant to the project ; • Previous work experience is not required, but considered as additional asset; • Fluent in English, Russian and Uzbek. German language would be an asset; • Accuracy, reliability, and responsibility; • Dedicated to tasks and attentive to details; • Customer and service-oriented attitude; • Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (Microsoft office software, email, familiar with internet research). |
