Duties |
Position: Office Manager/Translator Location: Republic of Uzbekistan Project context The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Asian Development Bank, is implementing the project aimed at sustainable SW management, with a focus on institutional reforms, sector modernization and improved access to services in rural and suburban areas of the country. A Project Management Group has been established to implement the project, which is responsible for coordination, monitoring, procurement, financial and administrative support. Main responsibilities The Office manager/translator will perform the following functions: Administrative tasks: • Document management (incoming/outgoing correspondence, business correspondence, emails, faxes) • Accounting and document management in the national EDO-IJRO system. • Preparation and registration of meeting minutes, schedule meetings, and organization of meetings. • Accounting and control of office expenses, supply of office supplies and supplies. • Ensuring the functioning of office equipment and organizational infrastructure. • Maintaining an archive of documentation in accordance with established regulations. Coordination functions: • Organization of reception of visitors, registration of business trips. • Support of international and local specialists (logistics, housing, visa support, registration). • Control over the execution of management orders. Translation functions: • Translation of official project documents (official, Russian, English languages). • Consecutive interpretation during meetings and events. • Editing and proofreading translations. HR support: • Accounting of staff attendance (absence, illness, vacation). • Support for the recruitment, transfer and dismissal of employees. • Maintaining personal files and the project personnel base. Qualification requirements • Higher education (preferably in linguistics, management, international relations or a similar field). • Fluency in the state, Russian and English languages (spoken and written). • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international projects. • Excellent business communication skills, correspondence management and interaction with various departments. • Proficiency in PC and office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.). • Responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work in a team. Reporting The Office Manager/translator reports to the Head of the Project Management Team and works in close coordination with other team members. |
