Duties Project Context:
We, SUEZ International, are leading a city-wide digital transformation of Tashkent's water management system by deploying smart cold-water meters across the whole city. These smart devices use the Wireless M-Bus protocol, enabling remote consumption tracking, leak detection, and real-time alarms. This initiative is one of the largest IoT (Internet of Things) and Big Data projects in Central Asia, combining complex field operations with advanced analytics and IT system integration.
With daily meter installation operations across thousands of buildings, we collaborate closely with installer subcontractors for storage, testing, dispatch and installation of our devices. We also partner with the city's water provider to register customer and device data—such as GPS coordinates, billing information, and photographic evidence—into our smart metering information system to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Position summary:
Responsible for providing logistic support and overseeing the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities & Duties:
•Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and custom's services
•Technical organization of the full customs clearance process with the contracted customs brokers. Physical attendance of all stages of the customs clearance and certification processes.
•Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
•Liaise, negotiations, supervision and performance control of the suppliers, manufacturers, forwarders, customs authorities, certification agencies and other involved bodies.
•Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, logistics, transport and customs costs and efficiency
•Organization of warehousing, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
•Timely and effectively resolving any logistical, customs, transportation, certification etc. problems and complaints
•Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule
•Coordinate with other teams (including teams outside Uzbekistan and performance teams in Uzbekistan) and track movement of goods through logistic pathways
•Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep costs low
•Maintain quality throughout the logistics and other processes concerned
•Respect Organization's standard policies (H&S, Environment, Ethics…) and compliance with internal reporting rules;
•Ensure protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties.
•Overall support of the procurement and administrative team activity.
•The job description is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent.

Professional requirements Experience specifications:
Minimum 3 (three) years of prior experience in the capacity of Logistics officer or similar role.

Qualifications:
- BS in Logistics, Business administration, or Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or in a related field.
- Prior experience in logistic or supply chain management with deep understanding of logistics operations, customs clearance and tax and customs duties application practices.
- Proficiency in Uzbek, English and Russian languages.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:
- Knowledge of the local procurement and customs regulations.
- Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in team environment and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with new software products and report timely.

Additional information: For 160 years, SUEZ has been a key player in environmental services. Today, our services span across, water services, recycling and recovery & air quality.

Permanent entity of the French company SUEZ International SAS in Tashkent.
The company has signed a 7-year contract with Tashkent city municipality and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services on March 7, 2020. Project started in August 01, 2023.

Project: Tashkent water transformation plan
The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and sewerage networks and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.
Main activity:
• Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard
• Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent
