Duties |
The project Trade Facilitation in Central Asia is looking for Junior Advisor on Economic Policy.
Main responsibilities:
o Support the implementation of project activities, in particularly in the area of trade facilitation, digitalization, transport and logistic sector; o Support the formation of state agencies involved in cross-border trade, small-scale women traders and actors from the transport and logistic sector; o Enhance networking and public-private dialogue (PPD); o Support the identification of local and international consultants for the implementation of activ-ities and during their assignments, including the preparation of Terms of Reference for local contracts, subsidies, and financial agreements; o Support to monitor project activities, insert monitoring data in the data sheets, and assist in conducting surveys (e.g. desk research, interviews, and meetings), in close cooperation with project members; o Organize events, meetings, conferences, and roundtables, take meeting minutes, prepare reports, support the PR Specialist to develop visibility material and translate project documents; o Assist in and carry out other project activities and tasks, as required. |

Professional requirements |
o University degree in economics, political science, business administration, management or other relevant field; o At least 2 years of professional experience in relevant field; Working experience in the field of trade, border control agencies, transportation or digital transfor-mation is an asset; o Relevant professional experience with a national or international organization is an asset; o Fluent in English and Russian languages. German is an asset; o Working knowledge of relevant IT technologies and computer applications (MS programs). |
