The Uzbekistan-Japan Center (UJC) was established with the agreement between the government of Uzbekistan and Japan concluded in October 2000. UJC was founded by the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). UJC aims to train business persons and entrepreneurs for the development of the private sector in Uzbekistan by introducing the Japanese experience in business development. It also aims to enhance mutual understanding between Uzbekistan and Japan, which contributes to strengthening the ties between the two countries through business, language, and cultural exchanges. The Center is open to a wide range of visitors in Uzbekistan including students, teachers, entrepreneurs, and all those who wish to learn more about Japan and engage in the interaction between the two countries. |
