Nestlé Uzbekistan Joint venture was created in 1999, based on Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan resolution. Nestlé has its operations in Uzbekistan since 2002, which includes two factories: Namangan producing water, milk and baby cereals products and from 2010 also Tashkent Factory producing larger formats of Nestlé Pure Life water. Along with production, Nestlé Uzbekistan is actively involved in agricultural development with 47 milk collection centers established since 2002 in Fergana Valley and active cooperation with small to large scale farmers in the region. |
