Investment program "Housing development in rural areas", is a multipurpose program for achieving more inclusive growth by improving the quality of life and livelihood. The program focuses on improving access to rural housing and improving the investment climate in rural areas, as a catalyst to improve the conditions of life and the creation of new jobs and livelihoods in rural areas. Program proposed as a mechanism for financing several tranches, includes a series of loans to financial intermediation to help finance housing loans for the purchase of a new modern rural housing for sub-borrowers with low and middle income (young families and primary consumers, teachers and health workers [two profession dominated by women]), and other qualified professionals (target beneficiaries) in the public housing program in rural areas (2011-2015). The program also supports capacity building of local authorities (khokimiyats) to implement integrated rural development and investment promotion strategy aimed at creating jobs in rural areas, and the creation of an enabling environment for rural micro-and small enterprises (MSEs).
The implementation of the program enables to improve the standard of living in rural areas, and the final outcome will be improved living conditions for the targeted beneficiaries in rural communities. |
