Duties PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Х To assist in the development of the Strategic Plans, including the Plan for the University as a whole, as directed by the Executive and to work with members of the Executive in the development of the plans in their areas.
Х To be responsible for the intelligence gathering of internal data across the university and externally for the development of the Strategic planning models and plans of the University
Х To work with colleagues in other areas of the university that are responsible for internal data sets and to assist in the development of an institutional data framework of such data
Х To ensure that the set of strategic plans are coordinated and integrated, including the integration with academic plans and policies.
Х To assist in the preparation of reports on the university to external stakeholders, including all official reports to the Uz Government
Х To assist the Executive Members in the development of their Strategic Plans for their areas of responsibilities.
Х To develop systems and procedures to ensure that the strategic planning process is focused, simple yet comprehensive, transparent and engages colleagues at all levels in the University
Х To work with the colleagues to ensure that the strategic plans are communicated across the university and externally in a customer focused manner.
Х To be responsible as line manager for the set of Executive Officers that are responsible for the International Partnerships, Institutional Compliance and Enhancement.
Х To work with such colleagues to develop systems and processes to manage their responsibilities
Х To provide reports to the Executive as appropriate and directed by the Rector
Х To work with the Rectors office in the publication of plans and policies
Х To review and report on good international practice in the development of the service
Х To assist in the Executive Office as appropriate
Х Any other appropriate duties as directed by the Rector

Qualifications.
Х Masters Degree that reflects the requirements of the post
Х English language proficiency to a level equivalent of an Academic member of staff
Х Language ability in Uzbek and Russian, other languages would be an advantage

6.2 Experience.
Х 3yrs Professional experience of Administrative functions
Х 3yrs experience of working with Senior Managers
Х Experience of higher education institution or similar organization
Х Experience of planning and development in an institutional context

6.3 Aptitudes, abilities, skills and personal qualities
Х Analytical and synthesis skills
Х Ability to develop models and systems for planning
Х Ability to communicate effectively with others and lead discussions
Х Ability to organize a range of activities associated with a senior decision making body
Х Ability to communicate with a range and at different levels in an organization
Х Excellent ICT skills
Х Open and critical, supportive yet assertive attitude to colleagues
Х Ability to deal with Confidential matters

Extra motivation To be responsible for the development of the Strategic Plans of the University, the process of formulation and dissemination within the university and externally. The post would also coordination of the strategic planning process across the university, the data sets and institutional framework for such sets, the intelligence gathering and reporting mechanisms. In addition to be responsible for the Executive officers on International Partnerships, Institutional Review and Enhancement.
