| Description: | The Embassy of Italy in Tashkent is responsible for carrying out the functions and tasks of the Ministry's central Headquarters in Rome's "Farnesina Palace". The Embassy is engaged in matters concerning Italy's external political, economic, commercial, social and cultural relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent and with other Government Departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Embassy is also involved in activities regarding the relations with others Countries in Uzbekistan as well as relation and cooperation with the European Union Delegation in Tashkent. In carrying out its tasks, the Embassy of Italy in Tashkent also ensures that the following functions: - Consular services and visas to Italy and the Schengen area; - knowledge of the Italian language and culture in Uzbekistan; - supporting the Italian business community in Uzbekistan; - Public Diplomacy, participation in Uzbek events regarding the relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tashkent; |
