GGGI seeks to recruit a Project Assistant who will be supporting the project operations in the field office in Nukus, Karakalpakstan. The consultant will be supporting effective operations of administrative activities and logistics, across the functions of finance, procurement, IT, human resources, and among others. The position holder will support execution of day-to-day multi-step transactions and ensure process integrity in all project operations, in line with established institutional policies, standards and donor requirements. We are seeking a dedicated team player with demonstrated professional integrity, accuracy, and punctuality. The position holder will work with Administrative Associate, under the supervision of the Project Manager in close consultation with component leads.

DELIVERABLES The consultant will perform the following tasks:
- Project administrative and financial management support; - Support activities related to logistics operations; and - Support project management by assisting in preparing project related activity documents and reports.
More specifically, s/he will
- Support administrative planning and execution for project activity implementation; - Provide support to project team on the administrative procedures, policies and tools for the successful project/output delivery; - Closely collaborate with Administrative Associate in Tashkent to align with corporate rules and regulations; and, - Interact with service providers/suppliers about the demands and ensure the appropriate delivery of goods/service; - Assist in preparing correspondences, reports, documents and publications; - Maintain effective electronic and hard copy filing systems. - Arrange appointments, meetings, trainings and missions including participant's travel and administrative arrangements; identify and secure meeting venues; prepare meeting documents; - Attend project related meetings; - Support the collection of data and information from project beneficiaries and project teams for the preparation of documents; - Support the Project Manager, Component Leads, OED Focal point, and the Country Representative as needed in project administrative and logistics operations
EXPERTISE REQUIRED Minimum qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree (or relevant qualifications) in public administration, finance, or related field preferred. - Up to 2 years of experience in administrative matters in public and private organization, experience in international organizations is a plus. - Experience coordinating functions and events (workshops, meetings, etc.) is required. - Excellent knowledgeable and skills in Microsoft tools and applications. - Excellent written and spoken English, Karakalpak and Russian. |
