| Duties | • Identify farms throughout Uzbekistan which employ novel technology in vegetable fields, fruit orchards, vineyards and greenhouses and could serve as demonstration farms; • Elaborate agreements with demo farmers and set up demonstrations; • Organize farmer training on these demonstration farms; • Conduct trainings for farmers on selected technologies in horticulture; • Collect and analyze data of demonstrations (yields, revenues, costs); • Plan and organize Study Tours and agricultural exhibitions. |

| Professional requirements | • Good knowledge of some horticultural clusters in Uzbekistan • Good relations with some key actors in horticulture (farmers, input supply, processing) • Education in agriculture, agronomy, economics or related field • Experience in agricultural consultancy, sale of horticultural equipment or agricultural financing (at least 2 4 years); • Experience working with farmers or farmer groups (at least 2 years); • Experience in conducting trainings on horticultural production for farmers (at least 2 years); • Fluency in Russian and Uzbek, some basic knowledge of English is necessary; • Readiness for frequent business trips to the regions. |
