The U.S. Mission in Tashkent is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Clerk.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for administering the Mission's Recruitment Program for Locally Employed Staff. S/he acts as a liaison with supervisors and candidates for recruitment issues and current vacancies at post; coordinates activities and gives advice to supervisors, employees, and applicants related to the recruitment process; administers the evaluation reports program; maintains a calendar of performance review due dates, and notifies supervisors of upcoming and overdue performance reviews; performs a variety of human resources clerical duties. Also, assists the HR Assistant with the Awards Program by requesting certificates and pins, scheduling the location of ceremony, arranging for a photographer, etc.

Professional requirements QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
1. EDUCATION: Completion of secondary school is required;
2. EXPERIENCE: At least two (2) years of experience in an administrative field is required;
3. LANGUAGE: Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English, Russian and Uzbek is required. Language Proficiency will be tested;
4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to work on multiple tasks at the same time. Must be detail-oriented and ensure that all deadlines for personnel actions and performance reviews are met promptly. Must be able to examine data in databases to ensure that all records are correct and up-to-date;
5. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have specific knowledge of computer database programs, data entry, and data storage concepts.
